Atlanta, GA – October 14, 2011—Thrive Technologies, Inc, announced today that Do It Center, the largest home improvement specialty center in Panama, has implemented Thrive’s inventory replenishment software to improve their inventory performance. Thrive Technologies is a leading provider of on-demand inventory performance systems for distribution intensive companies.
Do It Center opened in 1990 and has since experienced rapid growth, with 13 locations throughout Panama and more planned for 2012. Since Do It Center imports all of its products, their lead times must be managed carefully, and inventory planners work to adequately supply the local warehouse and its existing store locations.
In part because of their rapid expansion, Thrive was introduced to help them scale to more stores and reduce stockouts. “We conducted an extensive search for partners to work with us on this project. Thrive had both the SaaS model that we were looking for, as well as the knowledge of inventory and retail buying that we needed to make the system work,” says Samuel Cohen, Director of IT at Do It Center.
