Atlanta, GA – February 1, 2012—Thrive Technologies, Inc, announced today that the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (VABC) has upgraded to Thrive’s Store Replenishment system delivered as a Software as a Service (SaaS).
VABC recorded more than $692 million in gross sales in 2011, generating $121 million in profits for the Commonwealth of Virginia. These sales generated from 335 stores offering more than 2250 distilled spirits and Virginia wines. Thrive’s system accurately analyzes store level demand and determines the proper quantities of product to ship from VABC’s warehouse to the stores daily, amounting to over three million cases shipped per year.

Thrive’s most recent, upgraded demand forecasting engine employs an industry-leading 500 forecasting models to determine the best-fit forecast for each item/location. Greater forecast accuracy lowers the required amount of safety stock inventory while improving customer service levels.
